Everything about this place was awesome from the atmosphere, to the service, to the waitress , to the darn BOOM BOOM WINGS OMG THEY ARE RIDICULOUSLY GOOD .. Cooked perfectly not dry very moist and super saucy . I GIVE THE CHEF 2 's up..And there beer selection is good ..Must try this place. I'm a truck driver so I'll definitely come back here for some more soon...Thanks Fasho
The food was freakin amazing I had been up north for about three weeks and boi if it was absolutely amazing to sit down in a country dinner type atmosphere. Anyways the service was top tier my server was Logan sweet young lady went above and beyond especially with my extra ranch i definitely recommend the wings they were absolutely perfect and my salad I had was amazing and let me say the north people don’t know what sweet tea is so it was nice to get a couple glass of their sweet which might I add was absolutely Exhilarating to my taste buds all around i definitely recommend this place to anyone it’s AMAZING
This is one of those local gems that you always hope to find when traveling. We had mozzarella sticks, really good and ceaser salads! Really good! Staff was just what you would expect, full of southern charm!
I’m a trucker, been driving through here for years and I generally get the five guys because it’s the safe option. But man have I been missing out!!! The wings were huge, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Yes they’re a little pricey but damn they were good. Then all got a Philly cheesesteak and it hit the spot. This is my new favorite spot! Just went again tonight on 9/26/24. The wings were tiny this time but the flavor was still good. The steak and cheese sub last time the meat was falling out because it was so full, look at this time
I had a really good experience here. I was staying at an air b and b nearby, and I just wanted something that was not a chain. I was confused by the location switch at El Ranchero and ended up here. (This was November '23, it had a slightly different name.) The service was so warm and friendly, there were a number of gals with sweet accents behind what I believe was the pizza counter, and we had a really nice chat about life in this part of Virginia. They were friendly to a sole female traveler at the end of their shift, they brought me extra club soda and just made me feel welcome. It was the last warm night of the year, people were friendly and relaxed. My food was just fine, just a simple salad with grilled chicken and it was tasty. They also got me lemons and limes for my drink. Sometimes just being made to feel at home is the most important thing, and the staff did such a great job.
Agnes was our bartender/ server. She did a wonderful job getting our food out to us in a timely matter. We enjoyed her conversation and drinks. Learn lots about the owner/ race car driver. Entertaining place.
Fun stop on our trip. Our waitress was so hospitable. Our wings were delicious Beers were served in chilled glasses, yum! Got a bar pie that was crispy with lovely sauce, a bit heavy on the cheese. Even the chef was friendly! Easy on/off the highway... Excellent stop.
Had the 12 ounce ribeye with shrimp, fettichie ,and vegetable medley. Very good
